Withdrawal
A withdrawal from the DFI App is a transaction of crypto native token from the DFI environment to an external address (usually a connected wallet).
DFI use Virtual Account for its users to hold and manage their converted assets like DAI, USDC, USDT to the on the platform available virtual FIAT currencies. Virtual Account is one of digital payment / currency holding methods that are often used by the public. Its practicality and security system are two of the reasons users love to use it.
To transfer assets from your Virtual Account to your connected wallet, - you should have already some virtual assets converted and deposited to it.
Please Login to your account with the assets holding wallet
Navigate to Portal and choose an account by touching the account label
Once you are in the chosen account, right above the account summary touch Plus button
Now choose an on platform available currency and enter desired amount
Confirm with the button Submit
All deposits are held in your own wallet storage, for security reasons, however, withdrawal requests - for all cryptos - are automated. That means a withdrawal is a conversion process from the virtual FIAT currency available in your wallet to a real-world cryptocurrency. A deposit would be an opposite action.
There is a minimum requirement for each withdrawal, along with a flat fee to cover the transaction costs of moving the cryptocurrency out of your DFI account.
As decentral application based on the DFI owned blockchain each transaction with the blockchain must be covered with a transaction fee - GAS. Therefore, by moving your assets to an external account pay attention that your wallet has enough DaoFi tokens. Normally the DFI application recognize, when these tokens needed and transfer them to your wallet within 24 hours after first deposit. Anyway, sometimes users need react faster. There is everywhere a button available right above to initiate this process manually.
In most cases, withdrawals are almost instant and normally should take no longer than 1-2 hours to be processed.
